Toy Design Overhaul

This time we had to design the toy to fit the theme "not your ordinary dragon."  I chose to create a snap dragon.  It was fun to explore all the different ways I could push the design.

Viking Parasite 2 - Design overhaul and value

The value and design overhauls I did to this sucker really improved this parasite! Joe's feedback helped me to simplify him even further.  He looks kinda like an owl viking hybrid.

Charley Harper Emulation

This is Gaston. He was created for the prehistoric life Charley Harper emulation assignment for Joe's class.  It was fun. Contrary to popular belief, something this simple takes a long time to design.

Lego Explorer

I modeled this Lego guy for my intro to 3D class. It was fun! He is a character from the Johnny Thunder series. He is supposed to be holding a torch, but it doesn't read very well. I'll probably fix this up and update this post.

Viking Parasite

This is the Viking parasite I drew for my Drawing for Animation class.  It was fun.  He uses his shield arms to block incoming fire arrows.

Textures

Here are some textures I did for my drawing for animation class.  Textures are very difficult, but I learned a ton doing this assignment.
Anyway, I enjoy creating high contrast images.  The next time you have a pencil and paper at hand, try a few textures.

"Slim" Pickens

Slim attends to the scarce flocks in the burning Gobi desert.  Because of his nocturnal nature, Slim is always drowsy when on the job.  As a result, the sheep are "slim" pickens in this part of the desert.

I created this for my drawing for animation class. I am still learning how to use those lovely prisma color markers.
